One of the UK’s most inspiring and best-known faith-based organisations is looking for a General Assistant/Driver to join the team at our Furniture Project in Perth.Job Summary:
The role exists within an integrated Community Programme consisting of a furniture retail outlet and two charity shops and forms a large part of the missional outreach of the Corps (Church).
Key Responsibilities:
As General Assistant/Van Driver you will assist in the collection and delivery of donated furniture and goods for the furniture project and assist in the retail outlet.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Full clean UK driving license and experience of driving a van
- Experience of collecting and delivering large goods, and working in a warehouse and/or retail environment
- Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic PC skills
